ceramic; ceramic colorant; reagent in analytical chemistry; insecticide for
potato; catalyst; purification of hydrogen; solvents for chromic iron ores;
desulfurizing oils; medicine; paints.
Properties :
Brownish-black powder, soluble in acids; difficulty
soluble in water. Sp. gr.6.32; decomposes at 1026oC.
